Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Lee Kemp and I am running for Colorado Senate District 23.  My wife and I have lived in Colorado for over 35 years, and raised our children, Melissa, Stacie and James, here in Broomfield.  Like many of you, I have spent my professional career in the private sector, working my way up from body shop helper to mechanic to management.  I believe that hard work and dedication are the building blocks of success, and the commitment to my family the foundation for life.  I also understand the value of giving back to our Country and local community from honorably serving my country during the Vietnam War, serving on the RTD Board, volunteering for CASA, to working as a Victim’s Advocate for the Broomfield Police Department.

I’m tired of the political gridlock in Washington and in our own state capitol.  I am not a career politician, but I know we can work together to solve today’s problems with the bedrock principles that we all share and that I have based my life upon.  I will work diligently to balance our budget, bring economic development to our state, fix our roads, and give our children the best education
possible.
